Job Description:

We're supporting a well-known firm of chartered accountants based in Tunbridge Wells seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Senior to join their growing team. The successful candidate will develop effective relationships with a diverse client portfolio. The role offers a hybrid working model, combining home and office work, with the opportunity to work from home two days a week. There is excellent potential for career progression.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and reviewing Corporate Tax returns
  • Handling enquiries from HMRC
  • Contacting clients to gather information
  • Identifying tax planning opportunities
  • Working on research projects
  • Addressing queries regarding tax filings or payments from HMRC
  • Collaborating with Partners to advise on R&D tax relief, loss relief, capital allowances, group reorganisations, and employee share schemes
Requirements
  • Experience in corporate tax within UK accountancy practice
  • ATT qualified or studying for ACA, ACCA, or CTA
  • Experience with specific tax software is advantageous
  • Strong relationship-building skills and corporate awareness
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
