Job Title: Corporate Tax Senior

Location: Liverpool Office, L2

Salary: Up to £40,000! (dependent on experience)

The Role:

I am currently looking for a Corporate Tax Senior to join my client's dynamic and experienced tax team. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their career in a forward-thinking firm that values technical excellence and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of corporate tax computations and returns, including those for UK and overseas groups
• Advising clients on corporation tax payments
• Providing tax support to our accounts and audit teams
• Preparing tax figures for inclusion in statutory accounts
• Assisting with R&D tax relief claims
• Liaising with HMRC and third parties
• Supporting large-scale projects (e.g. capital allowances claims)
• Conducting technical research on tax legislation

The Individual:

• At least 3-4 years' experience preparing CT computations for SMEs
• Good understanding of company accounts
• Strong communication and numeracy skills
• Motivated with a desire to learn and share technical knowledge
• Excellent time management and organisational abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and tax software

Qualifications:

• Part-qualified ACA, ACCA, or ATT preferred
• Candidates studying towards ACA or ACCA in a mixed accounts/tax role will be considered
• CTA study support available for the right candidate
