Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Corporate Tax Partner to join our esteemed client. In this pivotal role, you will shape and execute the Corporate Tax strategy, lead a team of dedicated Tax professionals, manage key client relationships, and provide expert advice on complex Tax issues. This is a unique opportunity for a strategic leader to make a significant impact within the firm and contribute to its continued success and growth.

The Corporate Tax Partner will play a critical role in managing the firm's tax advisory services. Their duties and responsibilities encompass a wide range of strategic, managerial, and client-facing tasks, including:

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the firm's corporate Tax strategy in alignment with overall business goals and sector expertise.
  2. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, build strong relationships with potential clients, and expand Tax advisory services.
  3. Client Advisory: Provide high-level Tax advice on a range of corporate Tax issues including mergers and acquisitions, international Tax planning, transfer pricing, and compliance.
  4. Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary contact for key clients, ensuring their needs are met with tailored Tax solutions and maintaining strong client relationships.
  5. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Tax professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  6. Quality Assurance: Oversee the delivery of Tax services to ensure the highest standards are met and all regulatory requirements are adhered to.
  7. Risk Management: Identify and manage risks associated with Tax advisory work, ensuring compliance with professional standards.
  8. Financial Oversight: Manage the budget for the Tax practice, overseeing billing, profitability analysis, and financial performance.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Professional Qualification: CA/ACCA/CTA qualified or equivalent.
  • Experience: Extensive experience in corporate Tax, with a proven track record in a senior role within a chartered accountancy firm.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business development skills with the ability to identify and capitalize on new opportunities.
  • Client Focus: Exceptional client relationship management skills, with the ability to deliver complex Tax advice in a clear and practical manner.
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of UK and International Tax legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at the highest levels.
