Our Head Office Tax Function seeks a highly organized and enthusiastic individual to join the team. You will utilize your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and financial understanding to work within a team of Tax specialists. This role is ideal for a positive team player aiming to grow in Tax and seeking progression within a growing company.

We offer a hybrid working model, with three or more days in our state-of-the-art office, which includes amenities like an on-site gym and restaurant, and up to two days at home for work/life balance.

Note: To align with company structure, this role is internally called Senior Consultant.

What you'll do

• Reporting to tax and finance leadership, overseeing corporate tax compliance and advisory matters
• Managing and reviewing the work of 2 assistants
• Analyzing accounting systems and outputs from other departments
• Assessing expenditure for tax purposes, including capital allowances and land remediation
• Handling ad hoc advisory projects, evaluating business initiatives, and analyzing new Tax Regulations
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including Revenue authorities
• Managing tax queries, tasks, and deadlines
• Testing and analyzing compliance controls

What you'll need

• CTA qualification (essential)
• Extensive experience in tax, with review skills and expertise
• Ability to interrogate accounting systems (e.g., SAP)
• Industry experience and a passion to learn
• Strong analytical, numeracy, and accounting skills
• Confident presentation skills
• Excellent multi-tasking and prioritization skills
• Strong communication skills
• Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SAP
• Self-motivated with a proactive attitude
• Flexibility; German language skills are desirable but not essential
