What do the team do?
The Tax department works with clients across a broad spectrum, from high net worth individuals through to large corporates and not-for-profit entities. They have an international presence and offer compliance services for complex clients through to delivering exciting projects of an advisory nature. The department works as one nationally, so we are open to hiring someone who can be based out of one of the following locations - Cambridge, Norwich or Peterborough.
As part of our dedicated Corporate Tax team, you will manage a portfolio of business clients and mostly undertake complex corporate tax compliance work for large UK and international companies and groups. This will take around 75% of your time but we're also open to someone who wants a purely compliance focused role.
For those that want to do some advisory assignments, these will include corporate reorganisations, business sales and acquisitions, tax due diligence, property tax, EIS, corporate interest restriction (CIR), R&D tax and other ad-hoc projects.
