Senior Accountancy Recruitment Consultant

Are you an experienced tax professional looking to take the next step in your career with one of the UK's leading accountancy practices? We're working with a prestigious firm to find an exceptional Corporate Tax Manager to join their growing team and can be based hybrid from Edinburgh or Glasgow.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive tax team, working with a diverse portfolio of corporate clients ranging from mid-market businesses to large multinational corporations. You'll be at the forefront of complex tax advisory work whilst developing and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a varied portfolio of corporate tax compliance and advisory clients
• Preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations and returns for UK and international entities
• Leading tax planning projects and providing strategic tax advice to clients
• Managing client relationships and acting as primary point of contact for key accounts
• Supervising and developing junior staff members, providing technical guidance and support
• Identifying business development opportunities and supporting pitch processes
• Staying current with tax legislation changes and their impact on clients
• Working collaboratively with other service lines including audit, advisory, and international tax teams

Previous Experience:

Our client is on the hunt for a qualified tax professional (or ICAS qualified with tax experience) with a minimum of 5 years experience in corporate tax or mixed tax role in a British firm. Strong technical knowledge of UK corporation tax, including group relief, losses, and reorganisations is required as is strong client relationship experience. Strong leadership skills are required, with previous experience managing a team of juniors a requirement.
