A recruitment agency is seeking a Corporate Tax Manager in Royal Tunbridge Wells. The successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio of clients and provide corporate tax provisioning, compliance, and advisory services. Candidates should have significant corporate tax experience, excellent management skills, and relevant qualifications (ACA/ACCA/CA and/or CTA). Qualifications

  • Significant corporate tax experience within the profession or industry.
  • Technically proficient tax adviser capable of handling complex client work.
  • Experience in managing people and clients.
  • Interest in developing business development skills to support firm growth.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of businesses including OMBs, SMEs, and larger corporates.
  • Undertake corporate tax provisioning, compliance, and advisory work for your portfolio.
  • Engage in various business tax activities such as ad-hoc advisory, international tax, R&D tax credits, VAT, and employment tax aspects.
  • Assist with transactional and due diligence work.
  • Provide excellent client service and maintain regular contact with clients.
  • Liaise with Partners and demonstrate strong management skills.
  • Provide on-the-job training for junior staff individually.
  • Ensure procedures follow relevant institute and HMRC guidance.
  • Meet department KPIs related to billing and recovery targets.
  • Participate in meetings, seminars, and courses for professional development.
  • Promote cross-referrals within the firm by understanding other departments' capabilities.
