Overview

Corporate Tax Manager or Senior Manager - Reading

Clark Wood have been instructed on a managerial level opportunity for a rapidly growing regional firm in Reading, Berkshire, offering the chance to focus on interesting advisory work for a mixed portfolio of tax clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level advisory and planning services with a great deal of autonomy.
• Business development and networking: develop client services and grow the tax portfolio.
• Increase awareness and exposure of the firm\'s tax services.
• Manage a department and a large, complex portfolio of tax clients, with a focus on Owner Managed Businesses, Small to Medium Enterprises and the Directors, Partners, Private Clients, High Net Worth Individuals, etc.
• Support IHT/CGT planning, non-doms & trusts, reconstructions and demergers, share schemes and EIS/SEIS, R&D tax credits, patent box claims, M&A, exit planning and succession planning as part of the team\'s broad tax offering.

Client and Engagement Focus

The main client base for this role includes Owner Managed Businesses, SMEs, and Directors/Partners, Private Clients, and High Net Worth Individuals.

Location

The Reading office is commutable from areas across Berkshire, Hampshire and Surrey, including Reading, Winnersh, Bracknell, Farnborough, Guildford, Slough, and Wokingham.
