The Team

The Corporate Tax Accountant/Manager will join the Corporate Finance team (can be based at either the Cambridge or London office locations) and play a key role in shaping our tax compliance and reporting processes across the UK and beyond. You will be responsible for managing the preparation and submission of UK corporation tax returns, reviewing tax provisions, and supporting global tax compliance. Working closely with internal finance teams and external advisers, you’ll ensure that our tax affairs remain compliant, timely, and aligned with best practices across multiple jurisdictions.

Role and Responsibilities

Prepare and submit UK corporation tax computations and returns for multiple entities

Coordinate reviews of CT600 filings with external advisers and support UK QIP obligations

Manage capital allowance claims and R&D expenditure credit (RDEC) submissions

Support SAO risk assessments and audits with clear documentation and analysis

Prepare UK statutory account tax disclosures and assist with reconciliations

Contribute to group tax reporting, including ETR analysis and cash flow forecasting

Assist in the preparation of US GAAP tax packs and ensure consistency in group reporting

Monitor global direct tax compliance and ensure timely, accurate filings

Review returns prepared by embedded teams or external providers

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance and optimise tax processes

What you’ll bring

Strong technical knowledge of UK Corporation Tax compliance and reporting

Professional qualification in tax or accounting (e.g. ATT, CTA, ACA, ACCA)

Experience in a professional firm or industry, ideally at manager level

Familiarity with complex, cross-border tax environments and global reporting standards

Ability to work independently and manage relationships across jurisdictions

High attention to detail and a structured, analytical mindset

Proficiency in MS Excel and experience using Onesource for tax returns

Exposure to US GAAP reporting is an advantage
