Description

Your role:

1. Manage client relationships and deliver high levels of client service.
2. Advise clients on tax planning and tax issues.
3. Manage the delivery of key tax projects, combining technical excellence with a practical solutions-driven approach.
4. Keep up-to-date with changes in tax law and the economic and business environment to ensure arrangements are robust and future-proof.
5. Identify and advise on tax issues arising as part of new client engagements and to manage projects.
6. Manage a portfolio of clients.
7. Supervise, coach and develop junior members of staff within teams, on client premises and in the office.

Profile

A successful Corporate Tax Manager should have:

1. Relevant tax experience in a professional services firm.
2. Proven experience in client handling and managing a busy portfolio.
3. Excellent team-working skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
4. Strong technical skills and keen to develop further.
5. Ability to build strong client relationships.
6. Experience in dealing with senior and sometimes challenging individuals.
7. Ability to act as a role model for trainees and executives.
