Role Overview

The KPMG Corporate Tax team is a cornerstone of our business, serving the region with diligence and expertise. We support the UK through various economic cycles, standing alongside institutions and businesses that shape the UK.

Responsibilities

1. Act as a main point of contact for a portfolio of clients on daily tax matters, collaborating with Partners, Directors, and Senior Managers.
2. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their business needs.
3. Manage tax advisory projects, providing UK corporation tax input, overseeing delivery of advice, and coordinating with other tax areas and international teams.
4. Keep clients informed about emerging tax developments affecting their business.
5. Manage the delivery of UK corporation tax compliance services.
6. Supervise junior staff and support their development through coaching.
7. Assist in client account management, ensuring quality and risk procedures are followed, and support financial management.
8. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, participating in business development activities.

Requirements

• Qualified CTA or ACA / CA or equivalent.
• Strong UK corporation tax compliance and advisory experience, including tax accounting.
• Skills include problem analysis, effective communication, interpersonal skills, resilience, accountability, continuous learning, team building, and professionalism.

Preferred Extras

• International experience, Treasury, Tax Reporting.
