Job summary

Autograph Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Corporate Tax Manager for an award-winning accountancy and advisory firm in Cheltenham. You will own client relationships and lead a growing tax team while delivering high-quality corporate tax compliance and advisory work.

Ideal candidates will be ACA or CTA qualified with strong technical knowledge, excellent communication, and a proactive, commercially minded approach. Hybrid/flexible working with regular office presence is available.

• ACA or CTA qualification with experience reviewing corporate tax computations.
• Strong technical knowledge of corporate tax compliance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage corporate tax compliance work to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Be the day-to-day contact for clients and build strong relationships.
• Review corporate tax computations prepared by junior team members.
• Collaborate with audit, accounts and other teams to deliver excellent client service.
• Support tax advisory projects and identify opportunities to add value.
• Manage risk, work in progress and fee quotations.
• Mentor and develop junior colleagues.

You'll work with a varied portfolio of predominantly owner-managed businesses and mid-sized corporate clients, delivering high-quality tax compliance services and contributing to advisory work.

The role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and managing corporate tax compliance work, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
• Acting as the day-to-day contact for clients and building strong relationships.
• Reviewing corporate tax computations prepared by junior team members.
• Working closely with audit, accounts and other teams to deliver an excellent client service.
• Supporting tax advisory projects and identifying opportunities to add value.
• Managing risk, work in progress and fee quotations.
• Mentoring and developing junior colleagues.

The role offers hybrid and flexible working, with a regular office presence to support the wider team.
