Overview

Corporate Tax Manager or Senior Manager - Reading

Clark Wood have been instructed on a managerial level opportunity for a rapidly growing regional firm in Reading, Berkshire, offering the chance to focus on interesting advisory work for a mixed portfolio of tax clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level advisory & planning services with a great deal of autonomy.
• Business development and networking: develop client services and grow tax portfolio; increase awareness & exposure of the firm's tax services.
• Lead and manage a department and a large complex portfolio of tax clients.
• Deliver a broad range of tax advisory work for Owner Managed Businesses, SMEs and Directors/Partners/Private Clients/High Net Worth Individuals.
• Technical work across a broad range of tax issues, including IHT/CGT planning, non-doms & trusts, reconstructions and demergers, share schemes and EIS/SEIS, R&D tax credits, patent box claims, M&A, exit planning and succession planning.

Qualifications

• CTA/ACA Qualified
• Proven track record of Business Development
• Experience within a Manager or Senior Manager level role

Location

This local Reading office is commutable from areas across Berkshire, Hampshire and Surrey, including Reading, Winnersh, Bracknell, Farnborough, Guildford, Slough, and Wokingham.
