You’ll join a high performing team advising on a broad range of clients, from early-stage start-ups and successful privately owned businesses to some of the world’s largest and most complex organizations.

You will be responsible for managing the tax relationship across a diverse portfolio of clients, providing broad technical experience. Your projects will include international tax, treasury tax, group restructuring, tax governance, group reporting, and domestic tax advisory and compliance.

This role is ideal for a Manager looking to advance their tax career.

What will you be doing?

  • Delivering technically excellent advice on tax structuring, compliance, governance, refinancing, legal structure optimization, pre/post transaction reorganizations, and tax authority inquiries, while supporting the wider corporate tax team.
  • Collaborating with specialists in other departments and overseas offices to oversee their input into tax advisory projects.
  • Coaching and developing junior team members.
  • Building strong relationships with clients, understanding their business, and identifying opportunities to provide tax and other services.
  • Managing proposals for new work, including preparing tender documents, presenting at client pitches, and solving client issues.
  • Seeking and pursuing business opportunities, actively participating with Directors and Partners in business development.
  • Serving as a role model for KPMG’s values.

What will you need to do it?

  • Qualified ACA, CA, CTA, ACCA, or equivalent, with a strong UK corporate tax track record.
  • Ability to develop, coach, lead staff, and manage stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with a commercial approach to problem-solving and advice.
  • Proactive in identifying and developing business opportunities for long-term benefit.
  • Ability to multitask across various projects and relationships.
  • High drive, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
  • Commitment to continuous technical development.
  • Inquisitive with attention to detail.
