Job description

Well-regarded Commercial law firm in the City is looking to recruit a Corporate Tax lawyer of 0 to 1 years’ PQE. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside leading Tax professionals on complex and high-profile matters across a range of sectors. Few law firms contain a Tax group of their breadth and depth. The Tax partners are highly experienced, but also down to earth and hands-on. The teams’ clients span the firm's specialist sectors and range from multinational groups through to high-net-worth individuals. This mix brings variety to the Corporate Tax role. Specific responsibilities of the role: • Advising clients on UK corporate tax matters, including M&A, joint ventures, re-organisations, and corporate finance • Supporting transactional teams with tax structuring and negotiation of deal documentation • Drafting tax-related provisions in commercial agreements and preparing technical notes • Liaising with clients, counsel, and other advisers to deliver clear and practical tax advice • Conducting legal research and contributing to internal know-how and client briefings • Participating in business development initiatives.

Applicants will ideally have undertaken a seat in Corporate Tax law.
