Base pay range

My client, a UK Top 50 firm are industry leading financial experts working at the cutting edge of digital accounting, financial planning, and tax advice in a wide range of personal and business areas. They believe in supporting the ambition, drive and variety of the South West economy through a combination of expert advice and excellent client support.

They serve clients across Somerset, Devon, and Wiltshire. Their team of over 350 highly trained and qualified staff caters to 5000+ clients, cementing their reputation as trusted financial advisors and accountants.

They are looking for a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to join their office in either of the following locations - Wells, Yeovil or Chippenham.

Responsibilities:

Are you a proactive Corporate Tax Assistant Manager/ Senior looking for your next challenge? My client is searching for a confident and knowledgeable tax professional to play a key role in their growing Corporate Tax Advisory team. If you're CTA-qualified (or close to completing it) and ready to take on more responsibility, get in touch.

This is an opportunity to step up and make an impact, not just in compliance but in high-level advisory work. You’ll lead on reviewing tax computations, working on complex advisory projects, and mentoring junior team members. You’ll also have direct client exposure, helping to shape tax strategies and supporting businesses with expert guidance.

Requirements:

  • CTA qualified (or nearing completion) with solid corporate tax experience.
  • A strong mix of advisory and compliance experience, with an interest in complex tax matters.
  • The ability to lead client relationships, providing clear, strategic tax advice.
  • Experience managing work across multiple clients in a practice environment.
  • A supportive and collaborative approach to mentoring junior team members.
