Job Description:

We're supporting a top 15 firm of chartered accountants based in Maidstone, seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Assistant Manager. The role involves developing relationships with a diverse client portfolio and offers a hybrid working model of home and office. There is significant potential for career progression.

Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing corporate tax returns and preparing complex returns
• Handling HMRC enquiries
• Contacting clients for additional information
• Identifying and supporting tax planning opportunities
• Participating in research projects
• Addressing queries regarding tax filings or payments from HMRC
• Collaborating with Partners on areas like R&D tax relief, loss relief, capital allowances, group reorganisations, and employee share schemes
• Supporting Managers and Partners with staff management

Requirements

• Experience in corporate tax within UK accountancy practice
• ATT / CTA / ACCA or ACA qualified or studying
• Experience with specific tax software is advantageous
• Strong relationship-building and corporate awareness skills
• Highly organized with attention to detail
• Ability to manage and multitask effectively

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 depending on experience, negotiable
