Job Description

  • Operate as a key part of the client service team for various clients, involving regular external liaison and internal collaboration to plan and execute work delivery.
  • Provide high-quality corporation tax compliance services to clients.
  • Handle queries regarding tax filings or payments from HMRC.
  • Work closely with colleagues to offer technically accurate, clear, and concise tax advice on issues like loss relief, tax relief on interest, transfer pricing, R&D tax relief, capital allowances, reorganisations, international tax, and transactions.
  • Assist other departments to deliver quality services and identify tax risks and opportunities.
  • Maintain knowledge of the firm's capabilities and relevant economic factors.
  • Build productive relationships with peers.
  • Continuously improve skills, knowledge, and capabilities for client benefit and personal development.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to junior team members confidently.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
  • Ensure quality standards are met.
  • Perform other duties within the scope of the role as requested by managers or partners.

The Successful Applicant

  • ACA, CA, and/or CTA qualification.
  • Experience in an accountancy practice with solid knowledge of corporate tax.
  • Proven client handling and portfolio management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience with specialist tax software is a plus.
