Job description

McKellar Consulting are working in partnership with a Tax consultancy who have grown over more than a decade to add a Senior Tax Manager to work largely with local clients, working with senior leadership in Glasgow to expand locally. Their success has come through their specialism of tax services and through the people they have attracted and retained at the firm.

The company:

This is a UK-wide award-winning firm who work with an impressive client base that includes very interesting, complex and technical tax work.

The role:

You will work with clients who are OMB's, private equity backed, family owned and listed. Working on corporate tax advisory projects including (but not limited to), corporate and shareholder reorganisations, acquisition and sale structuring, tax due diligence, demergers and international matters.

Experience:

  • Minimum of six years' experience in a corporate tax role or/and private client or private business
  • CTA and / or ACA qualified (preferred although not essential).
  • Experience of dealing directly with clients and intermediaries.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Interest in development of junior staff members including new graduates.

Remuneration and benefits:

Salaries are benchmarked against the ‘Big Four’ Accountancy firms.

These roles are preferably full-time, but we will consider part-time/flexible working arrangements where necessary.
