Superb opportunity to move into a Corporate strategy and M&A role.

We are now working with a global business, who are looking for a Group Strategy and M&A Analyst. As a Group Strategy & Corp Dev Senior Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving the company’s long-term growth strategy. You will support mergers and acquisitions (M&A) initiatives, corporate strategy projects, and other strategic transactions. Working closely with senior leadership across various business units, you will help identify, evaluate, and execute growth opportunities, while also contributing to post-merger integration efforts and strategic planning processes.

Your responsibilities:

  1. Assist in executing M&A transactions, including due diligence, financial analysis, and transaction structuring, while coordinating with external advisors.
  2. Conduct valuation analysis and financial modeling for acquisition targets, joint ventures, and strategic investments.
  3. Prepare detailed presentations and investment memos for executive leadership and the Board of Directors.
  4. Conduct in-depth market research to identify market trends, competitive dynamics and potential acquisition targets or partnership opportunities.
  5. Develop actionable insights and recommendations to support company’s long term growth initiatives. Support the development and refinement of corporate strategy, assist in preparing materials for senior management and board discussions, and ensure alignment with business unit goals.
  6. Collaborate on post-merger integration, tracking acquired assets' performance and reporting on post-merger synergies.

Requirements for the role:

  1. 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or management consulting with a focus on M&A transactions.
  2. Demonstrated experience in financial modelling, valuation, due diligence, and deal structuring for M&A transactions.
  3. Advanced proficiency in financial modelling, valuation techniques, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases.
