About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic, analytical, and creative problem solver to join the RELX Strategic Pricing team. Our projects aim to transform pricing strategies and business models. You will collaborate with RELX companies on high-impact, strategically important projects, using hypothesis-based approaches to uncover insights that drive revenue and profit improvements.

It’s not a typical analyst role! Each week offers different challenges, from initial scoping to delivery:

1. Honing your data and modelling skills
2. Building your consulting skills
3. Communicating complex insights and recommendations simply to internal clients

with exposure to diverse businesses, leadership teams, and cultures. Working across RELX companies accelerates your development. As well as succession opportunities within our team, analysts can choose roles within the RELX portfolio when ready for the next step, leveraging our reputation for quality work and our internal network.

About the Team:

This team is an internal consulting service to RELX companies – Elsevier, LexisNexis Risk, LexisNexis Legal, and Reed Exhibitions (RX). We collaborate with business leaders to develop go-to-market pricing strategies and analytical insights for RELX’s innovative information products.

We are a small (7 members), close-knit, high-performing team that consistently delivers breakthrough insights and actionable recommendations. We value diversity of thought and background and prioritize personal development.

Our office is located at RELX’s Trafalgar Square HQ. We work remotely with occasional meetings in the office or at UK client sites. Some projects are global, requiring meetings outside UK hours. We promote flexible working, prioritizing work-life balance and wellbeing.

In The Role:

Projects (70-80%): Design and manage strategic projects with RELX Managers to deliver actionable recommendations.

Community (10-20%): Build a network of strategic pricing enthusiasts across RELX by sharing ideas and innovations.

Advice (10%): Provide ad hoc support to RELX leaders, inspiring analytical curiosity, improving data capture, and enhancing analytics methodologies.

Skills:

• Experience in strategic pricing or commercial strategy projects
• Strong analytical (quantitative and qualitative) and problem-solving skills
