An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Solicitor to join a highly regarded, Legal 500-ranked law firm with multiple offices and a strong client base. The role is based in Stockport, with the flexibility of hybrid working (2 days from home).

The Role

This position is open to candidates from Newly Qualified (NQ) level through to Partner, with responsibilities tailored accordingly.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Handling or overseeing corporate transactions and commercial projects from start to finish
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Generating work from existing clients, contacts, and referrers
  • Supervising junior colleagues (for senior applicants)
  • Contributing to business development and the wider growth of the team
  • Ensuring compliance with SRA and Lexcel standards
  • Supporting team collaboration, development, and knowledge sharing

What You’ll Need

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales – all levels from NQ to Partner considered
  • Experience in corporate law and transactions (commensurate with level)
  • Excellent client care and communication skills
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to practice development
  • Commitment to high professional standards and teamwork
