Corporate Solicitor

A respected regional law firm is seeking a Corporate & Commercial Solicitor to join its Huddersfield office. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to develop their career in a well-supported and forward-thinking environment, with a broad and interesting caseload and genuine prospects for progression.

The Role

The successful candidate will work closely with a diverse client base, ranging from local start-ups to national owner-managed businesses and SMEs. The role will cover a broad spectrum of corporate and commercial work, including:

• Share and asset sales
• Mergers and acquisitions
• Shareholder and investment agreements
• General corporate advisory matters

You will also be encouraged to contribute to the team’s business development and marketing efforts and build strong, lasting relationships with clients.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking a commercially aware solicitor with:

• Ideally 2–5 years’ PQE in corporate and commercial law (NQ applicants with relevant seat experience will also be considered)
• Excellent communication and client care skills
• A proactive, self-motivated approach and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Strong organisational and IT skills
• A willingness to participate in networking and business development activities
