Job summary

Clear Legal & Financial Recruitment is seeking a Corporate Solicitor to join a growing corporate team. The role welcomes lawyers from 1+ PQE to Senior Associate and Legal Director levels and offers exposure to a varied portfolio of corporate matters.

You will manage your own caseload, work with experienced colleagues on complex transactions, and develop strong client relationships, with opportunities for business development and progression within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year's post-qualification experience in corporate law.
• Experience advising on mergers and acquisitions, business sales and purchases.
• The ability to manage their own matters and progress transactions effectively.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and client relationship-building abilities.
• Commercial awareness and a practical, solutions-focused approach.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues.
• An interest in networking and business development.

Responsibilities

• Advising clients on a broad range of corporate matters.
• Managing transactions involving mergers and acquisitions.
• Handling business sales and purchases from instruction through to completion.
• Advising on company formations, restructures and corporate reorganisations.
• Drafting and negotiating shareholder agreements and other corporate documentation.
• Providing advice on corporate governance and general company law matters.
• Conducting transactions efficiently while maintaining high standards of client service.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and professional contacts.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across other practice areas to deliver joined-up advice.
• Contributing to networking, marketing and business-development initiatives.
