Corporate Solicitor – 1+ PQE

TSR Legal are delighted to be partnering with a highly regarded firm based in Cheltenham, who are seeking an ambitious Corporate Solicitor to join the renowned Corporate team, at a leading Top 100 UK law firm. Our client can offer the opportunity to work on high-profile transactions, to a diverse client base, including multinational corporations, SMEs, and start-ups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing advice on various corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, private equity, and venture capital transactions.
• Offering legal support for corporate restructuring, business sales, and management buyouts.
• Conducting legal due diligence and preparing detailed due diligence reports for clients.
• Collaborating with other departments, such as commercial, litigation and employment, to deliver well-rounded, tailored solutions to clients.

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with 1+ PQE, in corporate law (open to candidates with other levels of PQE depending on experience).
• Proven experience in handling M&A transactions
• Strong technical knowledge of corporate law and regulatory compliance.
• Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and prioritize effectively under pressure.
• A commercial mindset and a proactive approach to client relationship management.
• Enthusiasm for business development and the ability to identify growth opportunities for the firm.
