Corporate Solicitor (3-5 PQE) – Leading City Law Firm – London

Taylor Root has partnered with a leading city law firm seeking to hire a mid-level associate (3-5 PQE) into their Corporate practice.

The Team

This team is highly regarded in mid to high value corporate transactions (Tier 1 ranking) and handles a broad range of work including cross-border and domestic private and public M&A, VC and investments, start-ups and scale-ups, joint ventures, and general corporate advisory. Clients include sectors such as disruptive tech, fintech, financial services, professional services, and digital media.

Recent Transactions:

  • Advised on the cross-border sale of a UK-based cybersecurity and IT services group to a private equity-backed acquirer.
  • Represented institutional and management sellers in the international sale of a sustainable packaging manufacturer to a global packaging group.
  • Advised an energy technology company on a divestment valued at up to £42.5 million.
  • Assisted the founders of a UK-based fintech data and indexing company on its sale to a global financial services and analytics provider.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have strong experience in mid to high value M&A and VC and investment work. Experience in drafting key transaction documents such as share and asset purchase agreements, investment and shareholders agreements, and articles of association is essential. You should be capable of managing deal processes effectively.
