Corporate Solicitor (3-5 PQE) – Leading City Law Firm – London

Taylor Root have partnered with a leading city law firm who are looking to hire a mid-level associate (3-5 PQE) into their Corporate practice.

The Team

Highly regarded in mid to high value corporate transactions (Tier 1 ranking), this team handles a broad range work which is made up of cross border and domestic private and public M&A, VC and Investments, start-ups and scale ups, joint ventures and general corporate advisory. Clients include disruptive tech, fintech, financial services, professional services and digital media sectors.

Recent Transactions:

• Advised on the cross-border sale of a UK-based cybersecurity and IT services group to a private equity-backed acquirer.
• Acted for institutional and management sellers in the international sale of a sustainable packaging manufacturer to a global packaging group.
• Advised an energy technology company on a divestment valued at up to £42.5 million.
• Advised the founders of a UK-based fintech data and indexing company on its sale to a global financial services and analytics provider.

The Ideal Candidate

As the workload will be predominantly mid to high value M&A and VC and investment work candidates will need to have strong experience in these areas. You will be expected to have experience drafting key transaction documents (share and asset purchase agreements, investment and shareholders agreements and articles of association) and manage deal processes.
