Job description

Corporate Solicitor, 2-5 Years PQE, Hampshire, £55,000 - £75,000 (DOE) - A new role for a talented and driven individual to join a dynamic Corporate Commercial team based in Hampshire. JOB REF: 0309

THE ROLE:
• This is an exciting opportunity to become a key member of a well-established, forward-thinking law firm with a strong regional presence and a growing portfolio of high-calibre corporate clients.
• Play a key role in mergers and acquisitions, supporting partners and senior solicitors with complex transactions and taking the lead where appropriate.
• Support asset purchase and sale transactions by drafting ancillary documents and facilitating deal progress.
• Assist with business disposals, including due diligence responses and preparation of supporting documentation.
• Conduct comprehensive legal due diligence and oversee the process, including reviewing share purchase agreements, drafting disclosure letters, and preparing related documents.
• Engage in a broad range of corporate legal work, including drafting articles of association and shareholders’ agreements.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
• A minimum of 2 Years PQE in corporate law.
• Strong technical drafting skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proven experience in corporate and commercial law.
• Ability to interpret and apply complex legal principles practically.
• A proactive, solution-focused mindset.
