Job description

Corporate Solicitor, Birmingham, 5+ Years PQE, £75,000 - # ,000 (DOE) – This is an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of a dynamic and growing team with a reputation for excellence in corporate law. JOB REF: 9515.

THE ROLE:
  1. We are looking for a driven and personable solicitor with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE in a broad range of corporate matters.
  2. You’ll be comfortable handling complex transactions with confidence and clarity, and you'll play a key role in mentoring junior colleagues and developing talent within the team.
  3. You will be responsible for a varied caseload including M&A, private equity, reorganisations, and shareholder agreements.
  4. Providing commercially sound legal advice with a solutions-focused approach.
  5. Building and maintaining strong client relationships and identifying opportunities for business development and cross-selling across the firm.
  6. Supporting and developing junior solicitors and trainees within the corporate team.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
  1. A minimum of 5 years PQE in corporate law with demonstrable technical expertise.
  2. Proven experience working across a broad range of corporate transactions.
  3. Strong interpersonal and mentoring skills – a natural leader with a collaborative mindset.
  4. Excellent negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
  5. Confidence in managing both colleague and client relationships.
