Director - Corporate Services Division
National Role

We're searching for a Business Leader to pioneer the growth in our National Corporate Services Division which provides grounds maintenance and associated services to Blue Chip clients in the Commercial/Corporate sector. This is a pivotal role for a dynamic individual with a passion for green services and environmental solutions, ready to drive significant expansion within our innovative and rapidly growing company.

The post holder will be instrumental in identifying and seizing new business opportunities, cultivating robust client relationships, and guiding regional teams toward ambitious targets. You will be empowered to define our strategic direction and operational execution within this crucial market, applying your commercial insight and leadership prowess to achieve outstanding outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assume overall responsibility for the delivery of national strategic targets across all business activities within the Division.
  • Develop National tactical plans driving organic and acquisitive growth
  • Develop and enhance the management group to align company ambitions with the resources necessary to deliver
  • Report to the Board and lead National operations to achieve growth and profit targets.
  • Enhance Glendale's reputation in the green services marketplace, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.
  • Lead and secure senior client relationships, current and potential.
  • Protect and enhance our brand through effective leadership, communication, networking, and the promotion of fresh ideas.
  • Work intelligently and with great industry to create company value, aligning with the company share scheme.
A Snapshot of the Role

The successful applicant will take responsibility for the delivery of national strategic targets for the Division and will further develop the Company's strong presence in the corporate marketplace. They will motivate and lead the management group to align company ambitions with the resources necessary to deliver growth and profit targets. Developing and enhancing Glendale's reputation within the `green services' marketplace thereby ensuring that activities are conducted safely and to the highest possible standards. The Corporate Services Director will lead the Division, protecting our brand & reputation and enhancing our offering through effective leadership, communication, networking, enthusiasm and bringing fresh ideas.

Qualifications
  • A University degree at a high level from a recognised institution is a minimum requirement.
  • A postgraduate qualification, such as (but not limited to) a Master's Degree in a relevant subject, would also be preferred.
  • Formal vocational training with a professional body relevant to the industry in which they had gained the majority of their experience.
  • A proven track record as a board level director, operations director or senior leader in a relevant sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver quality driven, cost-effective, and profitable contracts, with strong business acumen and P&L management experience.
  • Extensive experience in contract negotiation, continuous improvement, and driving profitable growth in a geographically dispersed business.
  • Strong personal gravitas, team-building and customer relationship skills.
