Location: Bristol (with hybrid flexibility)

Salary: £75,000 to £95,000

A leading UK law firm is seeking a talented and commercially minded Senior or Managing Associate with 5+ years' post-qualification experience to join its nationally recognised Corporate team in Bristol. This is an outstanding opportunity to work on high-profile transactions across a range of sectors, with a Tier 1-ranked team known for its collaborative culture and technical excellence.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for leading and supporting a wide range of corporate transactions, including:

  • Mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate disposals, and buy-outs
  • Private equity and venture capital investments
  • Strategic advice and negotiation of key documents
  • Project management of complex transactions
  • Advising listed and unlisted companies, PE/VC-backed businesses, and founder shareholders
  • Collaborating on business development initiatives and profile-raising activities
  • Supervising and mentoring Paralegals, Trainees, and Associates
Candidate Requirements

This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:

  • 5+ years PQE in corporate law, ideally with mid-market M&A, VC, and PE experience
  • Experience leading transactions and managing client relationships
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commercial awareness and sector insight
