Job summary

Blake Morgan LLP in Cardiff is seeking a Corporate lawyer at circa 6 years' PQE to join our Senior Associate team. You will handle a broad range of corporate transactional matters including M&A, investments, joint ventures, private equity and governance.

From the outset you will work on challenging technical tasks for an established client base, contribute to business development, supervise junior colleagues, and engage in client relationships and networking to grow the practice.

Qualifications

• circa 6 years' PQE in corporate law.
• Experience with a recognised national or regional corporate practice.
• Proven track record in business development.

Responsibilities

• Handle a broad range of corporate transactions (M&A, investments, JVs, private equity) and governance.
• Lead in business development and client relationship management.
• Supervise junior team members and contribute to mentoring.
• Develop new opportunities and network with clients.
• Collaborate with Corporate colleagues in London, Thames Valley and Southampton.

We have a new opportunity for a Corporate lawyer at circa 6 years' PQE to join our Cardiff team as a Senior Associate. This position represents an excellent opportunity to further develop your expertise through exposure to a broad range of corporate transactional matters - including M&A, investments, joint ventures, private equity and general corporate governance work.

From the outset you will be involved in challenging technical work in support of our established client base, as well as playing your part in the growth of the practice through the development of new opportunities, supervision of junior team members, networking and client engagement. You will be provided with every resource and support needed to progress your career.

Based from our offices at One Central Square, you'll become an intrinsic part of our friendly and highly respected team – working in partnership with your Corporate colleagues in London, Thames Valley and Southampton. We operate flexible working practices which typically involve 3 days per week in the office according to business need.

About You

You will have circa 6 years' PQE and relevant corporate law experience gained with a recognised national or regional Corporate practice. You will have a proven track record or keen interest in business development and client relationship management.
