Job Description

As Corporate Security Senior Advisor, you’ll be working in a small team responsible for providing assurance that we’re addressing our security risks and improving our security culture. You will be a role model for security, promoting a positive culture and cultivating good behaviours. You'll contribute to protecting the organisation from security threats that could affect our people, data, information, or physical assets.
In this role, you will:

The team:
You will be part of a small, welcoming team within the Corporate Management, Assurance, and Security team, focused on protecting and empowering the organisation to function effectively and be resilient. You will have access to the advice of professional security teams in Defra group Security and work with subject matter experts in the Environment Agency.

The external security landscape is complex with evolving risks. While you do not need to be a security professional, you will need the following skills and experience:

This is a hybrid role; you will be based at your nearest office in England but will also be able to work from home. Some national travel for meetings is expected.
