As Corporate Security Senior Advisor, you’ll work in a small team responsible for providing assurance that we’re addressing our security risks and improving our security culture. You will be a role model for security, promoting a positive culture and cultivating good behaviours. Your role will involve protecting the organisation from security threats that could impact our people, data, information, or physical assets.

The team
You will be part of a small, welcoming team within the Corporate Management, Assurance, and Security team, focused on protecting and empowering the organisation. You will have access to professional security advice from Defra group Security and collaborate with subject matter experts in the Environment Agency.

The external security landscape is complex and evolving. While you do not need to be a security professional, the following skills and experience are essential:

This is a hybrid role; you will be based at your nearest office in England with the option to work from home. Some national travel for meetings will be necessary.
