As Corporate Security Senior Advisor, you’ll be working in a small team responsible for providing assurance that we’re addressing our security risks and improving our security culture. You will be a role model for security, promoting a positive culture and cultivating good behaviours. You'll contribute to protecting the organisation from security threats that could affect our people, data, information, or physical assets.

The team
You will be part of a small, welcoming team within the Corporate Management, Assurance, and Security team, focused on protecting and empowering the organisation to function effectively and be resilient. You will have access to the advice of professional security teams in Defra group Security and collaborate with subject matter experts in the Environment Agency.

The external security landscape is complex with evolving risks. You do not need to be a security professional, but the following skills and experience are essential:

This is a hybrid role; you will be office-based at your nearest location in England with the option to work from home. Some national travel is expected.
