Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is hiring a Corporate Security Officer for Chandlers Ford. You will safeguard people, property, and assets, managing front-of-house duties, access control, CCTV, and routine patrols to uphold service standards.

The role requires a valid SIA front-line licence, strong customer service, and IT-literate capability with security systems. On-site duties and a 4-on-4-off day pattern are expected in the UK.

Qualifications

• Licensing: A valid front-line SIA licence must be worn on duty and renewed at least 16 weeks before expiry.
• Experience: Corporate security experience is a plus; eager learners welcome.
• Skills: Excellent customer service, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Tech: IT literate and quick to learn new security systems; access to private transport is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operations: Deliver security services in compliance with site Instructions (AIs), UK laws, and policies.
• Front-of-House & Access Control: Manage reception, visitor logs, issue keys/passes, oversee goods-inward areas.
• Technology & Monitoring: Use MS Office, CCTV, and access control systems to maintain security.
• Health, Safety & Incident Response: Identify hazards, manage incidents, and maintain logs; perform timely check-calls and responses.
• Continuous Development: Complete mandatory competency training and pursue ongoing growth.
