Job summary

Mitie Group plc. in Reading is seeking a Corporate Security Officer to protect a Critical National Infrastructure site. You will patrol high-security areas, monitor CCTV and access control, and manage visitors and contractors.

Successful candidates will have UK residency 5 years, an SIA Door Supervisor licence, and SC Clearance. Full training is provided, with a 4-on/4-off shift pattern and opportunities to obtain a CCTV licence.

Qualifications

• Must have lived and worked in the UK for the past 5 years.
• SIA Door Supervisor licence is required.
• SC Clearance is required.
• British/dual nationality with UK passport is preferred.
• 3 GCSEs including English and Maths (Grade C/4+).
• First Aid at Work (or willingness to obtain) is a plus.
• Good IT skills.

Corporate Security Officer

Help protect the infrastructure that powers Great Britain

Wokingham / Reading, Berkshire | £17.00/hour | 12-hr shifts, 4 on / 4 off (2 days, 2 nights, 4 off)

The National Energy System Operator (NESO) keeps Great Britain's energy system running safely and reliably. We're looking for a Site Protection Officer to help protect a Critical National Infrastructure site, real responsibility, real purpose, every shift.

What you'll do

Patrol high-security areas, monitor CCTV and access control, manage visitors and contractors, respond to incidents, and keep accurate records.

Candidates need to have lived and worked in the UK for the past 5 years, as successful candidates will be provided SC Clearance.

You’ll need

• Fluent, confident written and spoken English
