Job Description:

In this high-profile security officer role, you will ensure the security and safety of premises and people at a prestigious client site.

An experienced Security Officer with exceptional customer focus will carry out duties including:

• Managing access control for buildings and car parks for employees, visitors, and contractors
• Patrolling the premises to deter and detect issues
• Responding to customer requests and queries
• Checking and challenging ID passes professionally and courteously
• Handling alarms and locking/unlocking buildings, rooms, barriers, and gates to prevent unauthorized access
• Reporting health & safety issues and providing first aid if necessary
• Maintaining incident records using various systems

This is a permanent role with shifts of typically 12 hours, covering days and nights from Monday to Sunday. Flexibility and reliability are essential as part of a small team.

An SIA Door Supervision (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) license is required. To succeed, you should also have:

• Strong customer service skills and experience
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stay calm under pressure
• Experience in customer-facing security roles
• Good IT and administrative skills
• Five years of checkable history and references
• Successful criminal records check

Additional useful but not essential qualifications include:

• First Aid at Work qualification
• SIA CCTV (PSS) Licence
