Security Officer Role

In this high-profile security officer role, you will ensure the security and safety of premises and people at a prestigious client site.

An experienced Security Officer with exceptional customer focus will carry out a range of duties including:

1. Managing access control for buildings and car parks for employees, visitors, and contractors
2. Patrolling the buildings, car parks, and grounds to deter and detect problems
3. Responding to customer requests and queries
4. Checking and challenging ID passes professionally and courteously
5. Deactivating and activating alarms, and locking/unlocking buildings, rooms, external barriers, and gates to prevent unauthorized access
6. Identifying and reporting health & safety issues and providing first aid if necessary
7. Maintaining incident reports using computer- and paper-based systems

This is a permanent role with variable hours. Shifts are typically 12 hours covering days and nights, Monday to Sunday. Flexibility and reliability are essential to support your team.

An SIA Door Supervision (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) license is required. To succeed in this role, you will also need:

• Strong customer service skills and experience
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• The ability to stay calm and professional under pressure
• Experience in a customer-facing security role
• Good IT and administrative skills
• Five years of checkable employment history and references
• The ability to pass a criminal records check (CRC)

Additional useful but not essential qualifications include:

• A First Aid at Work certificate
• An SIA CCTV (PSS) Licence
