Overview

At InterContinental London Park Lane, we are seeking a Sales ManagerCorporate Segment to join the team. Welcome to InterContinental London Park Lane. Located at one of the capital's most prestigious addresses, where the late Queen Elizabeth II once resided, our hotel redefines traditional luxury with a blend of modernity and flexible sophistication in Mayfair, offering scenic views overlooking two Royal Parks and award-winning seasonal cuisine.

As our Sales Manager, you will proactively drive business and manage relationships, saturation, and penetration of a portfolio of accounts in the Corporate Sales Segment. This role requires proactive total account management, maintaining and growing current usage and increasing revenue for group, catering, and corporate travel along with other revenue streams. It requires a proactive mindset with a strong focus on uncovering new accounts within Corporate Travel, Group and Catering segments from the UK market, ensuring hotel KPIs and revenue targets are met.

The ideal candidate will conduct client meetings to drive new business opportunities, maintain existing client relationships, and attend and represent the hotel at relevant trade shows. You will contribute to the delivery of the annual sales and marketing plan relevant to the corporate market, ensuring ROI is tracked in accordance with the completed activity, and above all create pride in the team to deliver a consistent guest experience.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively drive business and manage a portfolio of Corporate Segment accounts.
  • Maintain and grow current usage and revenue for group, catering, and corporate travel, across all revenue streams.
  • Uncover new accounts within Corporate Travel, Group and Catering segments from the UK market.
  • Conduct client meetings to drive new business opportunities and maintain existing client relationships.
  • Represent the hotel at relevant trade shows and contribute to the annual sales and marketing plan.
  • Track ROI of activities and deliver a consistent guest experience aligned with hotel KPIs and revenue targets.
Qualifications
  • University or Hotel School diploma or degree
  • At least 3 years of experience in hospitality sales with a track record of sales achievement
  • Fully networked in the Corporate sector
  • Strong strategic planning skills with ability to set and execute plans
  • Commercial acumen with ability to take calculated risks
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision and maintain high standards
  • Microsoft package skills; Delphi knowledge and Opera (desirable)
  • Cross-functional experience and knowledge of relevant topics
  • Experience in growing customer relationships and working with GSO networks
