We are seeking an experienced Risk Management professional to join our well-regarded team responsible for providing a comprehensive, efficient, and effective Audit and Risk Management service across the council.
You will play a critical role in helping the council achieve its objectives by innovating in the application of Risk Management tools and techniques and ensuring the Risk Management strategy supports the delivery of the council's refreshed Programme of Work and The Plan for North Lanarkshire.
Working a hybrid model of home and office-based work within Civic Centre, Motherwell, you will be a confident, enthusiastic, and self-motivated team player with a positive attitude and a drive for continual improvement. You should be a creative thinker with a professional approach to engaging with colleagues at all levels, contributing to a quality Risk Management service across the council.
Qualifications include education to HND/SVQ4/degree level or equivalent. You should have significant risk management experience in a large public or private sector organization, including delivering risk management initiatives, advising on risk management, developing and monitoring risk registers, and developing management information such as risk trends and costs. Membership of a recognized Risk Management body and a relevant qualification are desirable.
