Corporate Risk Manager

£50,574 - £53,607 per annum

The Corporate Risk Manager will report to the Head of Counter Fraud. As the lead for risk management, the postholder will work independently to ensure effective risk management, integrate it into strategic decision-making, and improve risk maturity across the authority.

The role involves working with key stakeholders to maintain the Corporate Risk Register, directorate, service, and project-level risk registers. The manager will facilitate the Council's Corporate Risk Group and develop training, advice, and support for officers involved in risk management processes.

The manager will lead risk assurance activities, review risks on the Corporate Risk Register, provide independent assurance over risk controls, and support the development of action plans to enhance risk management.
