A leading media company is seeking a Corporate Analyst for its Corporate Reporting team in Peterborough. The role involves assisting in financial statement preparation, overseeing compliance processes, and performing reconciliations. Candidates should be studying towards an AAT/ACCA qualification, possess problem-solving abilities, and show enthusiasm for developing the role. This position offers a hybrid working policy with substantial office interaction.

Role Objectives:
Financial Statements
Assistance in the preparation of Financial Statements for News UK and its Subsidiaries using Onesource.
Assistance with the fulfilment of external audit requests with active help and encouragement from your line manager and team.
Sarbanes Oxley Compliance Project
Ownership of testing your allocated finance processes as part of the wider Corporate Reporting team.
Establishing and maintaining accounting policies and controls will be part of your day to day responsibility.
Quarterly Reporting
You will be part of the team who report financial submissions for News UK and its subsidiaries using Onestream.
Specifically this will involve loading reporting packs for submission to US Corporate for News UK and its Subsidiaries.
Financial Accounting / Balance Sheet reconciliations
Completion and ownership of a number of monthly reconciliations on Blackline across News UK and its subsidiaries. You will be the Blackline reconciliation tool admin.
Preparation and maintenance of monthly excel based cashbooks including posting to the general ledger.
Key contact for Authorised Signatory list changes
Key part of SAP GRC team for user access changes
Key part of Blackline Admin team for changes
Other
Assist the corporate accounting team fulfil ad hoc requests from the business.
