Cardiff Metropolitan University is seeking a part-time Corporate Receptionist / Switchboard Operator to enhance visitor experiences on campus. In this role, you will manage switchboard operations and support various campus activities, utilizing your exceptional customer care skills and organisational abilities. To ensure that our Environment and Estates teams continue to provide excellent service to visitors, colleagues, and students, we’re looking for a Corporate Receptionist / Switchboard Operator. As our Receptionist / Switchboard Operator, you will gain a detailed understanding of the University and use your excellent customer care skills to provide an efficient and timely service.

What You’ll Bring
With excellent customer care skills and experience working in a customer-focused environment, you’ll support enquiries courteously, helpfully, and knowledgeably. Your telephone experience will enable you to answer calls on a busy computerised switchboard and transfer them to the appropriate department or individual.
Your outstanding organisational skills will be vital, supporting multiple tasks and priorities while providing timely assistance. Confidence in Welsh language skills, professional communication, and the ability to support service users with their queries are essential.
