Job description

One of our favourite clients, in the most stunning office, based in the heart of Mayfair has an amazing opportunity.

They are a distinctive, FTSE property investment /architectural firm, who are looking for a career receptionist to join them at their stylish central London offices.

You would be working as part of a two-person front of house team, sharing responsibility for providing a fully operational and professional reception.

Key Responsibilities of this role would include:

  • Welcoming on-site visitors, using an iPad-based system, in a professional, discreet and courteous manner.
  • Answer the switchboard in a speedy but courteous manner, identifying the purpose of the call and forwarding to the appropriate person/department.
  • Organise couriers and deliveries effectively
  • Manage the room booking process Work closely with the Office Manager to ensure the visitor experience is second to none and that guests, Directors and colleagues needs are pre-empted wherever possible.
  • Assisting the Office Manager with administration, invoice approvals, holiday records and suppliers. when required.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following:

  • Project good interpersonal skills whether verbal or written in person, on the telephone, or using email instant messaging or any other effective means of communication.
  • Display an unflappable and flexible approach whilst providing outstanding customer service
  • Have a good knowledge of telephone systems and call handling procedures.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Demonstrate experience of working as part of a team and able to work independently
  • . Competent using the MS Office suite and internet. Ideally have reception experience within a creative office.

The working day shift pattern is divided as follows: 8am-4.30pm and 9.30am-6pm. One week early/ one week late
