Receptionist – Finance Company

? City of London | ? 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday | ? Permanent Role

Would you enjoy greeting and welcoming clients, employees, and visitors coming into the office? Are you a warm, friendly, and organised individual with a passion for helping people? A finance company in the heart of the City is seeking a Receptionist to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be the face of a professional yet fun and inclusive organisation.

The Role:

As the first point of contact, you’ll be responsible for creating a great first impression for clients, visitors, and colleagues. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Front of House: Welcoming guests, coordinating with building security, and ensuring a smooth sign-in process.
  • Office Admin: Managing travel arrangements, processing expenses, and ordering office supplies.
  • Event Support: Assisting with the planning and coordination of company events throughout the year.
  • General Coordination: Handling calls, emails, and providing general administrative support.

The position is office-based, 5 days a week, a few minutes from Liverpool Street. The hours are 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM.

About You:

We’re looking for someone with:

  • A warm and approachable personality with excellent communication skills.
  • A good level of academic education.
  • Previous office experience is ideal but not essential – a can-do attitude and willingness to learn are just as valuable.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • A proactive and positive approach to work.
