LionHeart seeks a Corporate Partnerships and Fundraising Manager to drive its income generation strategy. This permanent position involves managing relationships with corporate partners within the RICS community, developing fundraising materials, and fostering engagement to meet financial objectives. The role offers flexibility with hybrid working arrangements and additional benefits.
LionHeart has experienced significant growth in demand for our services over the last five or six years, delivering more services to more members of the RICS community than ever before.
Established in 1899, we have evolved from a traditional benevolent fund supporting widows and orphans of chartered surveyors into an organisation providing multifaceted support to help people through life’s unexpected challenges — from financial grants to health, wellbeing, and work-related support.
As an independent charity, we rely on donations and fundraising to sustain the personalised, tailored support we pride ourselves on delivering to the surveying community now and in the future.
The Corporate Partnerships and Fundraising Manager will play a key role in executing and delivering our ambitious income generation strategy.
This role involves identifying, cultivating, and managing relationships with existing and potential corporate partners within the RICS community.
Working closely with the Supporter Engagement and Fundraising Manager, you will build and maintain meaningful relationships that generate sustainable income and help us reach our goal of breakeven over the next four years, while raising awareness of LionHeart, our services, and our impact.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Development, the post holder will develop relevant fundraising materials and activities, build a network of Corporate Champions, and monitor performance against the income generation strategy.
You will manage and mentor the Corporate Partnerships and Fundraising Account Executive, and together you will implement a corporate stewardship plan to foster engagement and create opportunities for corporate giving and fundraising.
We seek someone with experience in corporate or community fundraising, individual giving, or events management, who knows how to build and sustain strong relationships with external stakeholders to meet objectives.
You should be comfortable delivering compelling partnership proposals and presentations tailored to corporate audiences, and representing LionHeart at RICS, partner firm, or fundraiser events, and other networking opportunities.
