Harris Hill is seeking an Interim Corporate Fundraiser to help identify, research, and engage new corporate prospects.

The role is 3 months, 3-5 days per week, and offers up to £200 per day. This can be worked as a freelancer billing directly outside IR35 or via PAYE through the agency.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Research and identify a pipeline of qualified prospective corporate donors based in the UK/Europe, capable of giving at the six-figure level.
  • Engage and cultivate new high-value corporate and foundation donors.
  • Create compelling proposals that reflect the organisation's operational needs and align with donor interests.
  • Assist the Director of Fundraising in planning cultivation events for 2024.
  • Identify a long list of UK/Europe headquartered prospects, categorising them by funding capacity and support potential.
  • Screen prospects to create a priority pipeline aligned with the organisation's mission and funding capacity.
  • Gather contact details for all priority prospects, ensuring GDPR compliance.
  • Support targeted outreach efforts to secure exploratory meetings with potential donors.
  • Secure meetings with 20+ new prospects.
  • Write compelling proposals tailored to donor interests.
  • Develop a proposal for cultivation and networking events in 2024.

Knowledge and Skills
  • Experience in corporate fundraising within the charity sector.
  • Proven success in securing five- or six-figure gifts from corporate donors and foundations.
  • Strong research skills for prospect identification and screening.
