Job summary

Proper Recruitment is working with a well-established law firm seeking an experienced Partner or Senior Solicitor to join the Corporate department in London or Brighton. The role offers genuine partnership progression and a friendly, development-focused environment.

The candidate will manage a varied corporate caseload, advise on M&A, shares and investments, and help build the firm's Corporate practice while mentoring junior lawyers.

Qualifications

• Extensive corporate law experience.
• Partner status or solicitor aiming for partnership.
• Strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills.
• Commercially aware with a pragmatic client advisory approach.
• Hybrid working possible after probation.

Proper Recruitment are working with a well-established law firm who have a vacancy for an existing Partner or experienced Senior Solicitor to join their expanding Corporate department, based in either London or Brighton. This is an excellent opportunity for an established Partner, or an ambitious solicitor seeking partnership, to join a friendly and positive working environment with plenty of scope for innovation and development.

Extensive legal knowledge across a broad range of company and corporate matters is required.

Responsibilities:

• Managing a varied caseload of corporate matters
• Advising on M&A, share sales, business sales and investments
• Building and developing the firm's Corporate department
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team
• Contributing to business development and client relationship building

Requirements:

• Extensive corporate law experience
• Established Partner, or ambitious solicitor seeking partnership and advancement
• Strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills
• Commercially aware with a pragmatic approach to advising clients
• Up to £100,000
• Hybrid working possible following probation
