Job description

NRL has an exciting and rare opportunity for a Corporate Paralegal to join our client's head office Legal team in Farnborough, in a staff role.

The ideal candidate will have experience in construction/engineering cases and contracts, or have worked in a corporate legal team.

Location: Farnborough
Duration: Permanent/Staff Role
Hybrid: Split between office in Farnborough & home (negotiable on days)

Main responsibilities
  • Support the corporate legal team with entity management, board meetings, and corporate governance matters, maintaining corporate records, minute books, and statutory registers.
  • Assist in preparing board materials, resolutions, and corporate filings, coordinating with external counsel on corporate and commercial matters.
  • Support the legal team in due diligence processes for corporate transactions and assist with regulatory filings and compliance matters.
  • Maintain legal department documentation, including policies and procedures, and provide administrative support.
  • Support legal entities in various jurisdictions.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of corporate paralegal experience in construction/engineering cases and contracts or experience in a corporate legal team.
  • Bachelor's degree required; paralegal certificate or legal studies degree preferred.
  • Strong understanding of corporate law and governance practices.
  • Experience with entity management systems.
  • Knowledge of corporate filing requirements and procedures.
Skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint).

  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a strong plus.
